Enter an amount to collect, then when you click “Charge” the app now offers your iPhone as a payment method.
Choose “Tap to Pay on iPhone,” then hand your phone to your customer.
Your client brings their bank card (or phone) close to it, as they would with a card reader.
- The system checks the payment when your client puts their card near your iPhone, if they don’t need a PIN.
- If your client needs a PIN, typically for amounts over £50, they will enter their PIN directly on your iPhone.
The payment is fast. Tip: Bring the bank card close to the top of the iPhone. The top of the screen houses the NFC antenna.
